Focus on the Customer, November 3, 2007, 9:30 am-3:00 pm (coffee at 9:15), Aldrich Public Library, 6 Washington St., Barre,VT Annual statewide conference for trustees and their librarians sponsored by the VLA’s VLTA section, with help from the Dept. of Libraries. Speakers will focus on three topics important to serving public library communities today: customer privacy, customer and staff safety, and branding / marketing. Speakers will include Robin Lane of Champlain College, Trina Magi - VLA’s Intellectual Freedom Committee Chair, Rob Geiszler - Dept. of Libraries, and Liz Schlegel of Spike Advertising.
