Access to Universal Class Online Learning (Public Libraries)

Public Libraries that have registered barcode numbers or patron ID’s can now direct their users to the Universal Class Registration page.

Libraries that have registered may put this direct link to the registration page on their websites:

http://vermontstate.universalclass.com/register.htm

Your library users will not be able to enroll in these classes until:(1) your library’s barcodes numbers or patron ID’s have been registered (http://libraries.vermont.gov/barcodereg) and (2) Recorded Books has enabled those numbers for course registration.

Libraries may also link to or download the logo images for the service at these URLS:

In a short while DOL will also be putting links to the service on our website. Libraries without websites may point users to these links.

Watch for the links in “News” section on the right-hand side of our homepage (http://libraries.vermont.gov) and in the “SERVICES” section in the left-hand menu of our web pages.

DOL will also be supplying some additional resources for promoting the services: links to print materials and some basic HTML that could be used on your own sites.

If you have questions about registering barcode or patron numbers, please contact Rob Geiszler (802-786-3839 rob.geiszler@state.vt.us)
