Assistant Director and Network Manager – Brownell Library (Essex Jct., VT)
Full Time position at busy library.
Directly oversees and carries out the technical services function for all collections, and oversees network and its Internet connections. Maintains periodical/serial collections. Offers some reference service. Manages library in Director’s absence. Personnel supervision of support staff and volunteers. Some nights and weekends.
Masters in Library Science highly desirable. Broad based technical knowledge and library skills w/ training relevant to tech services and network administration. Some previous supervisory and reference work desirable. Familiarity with Windows and library databases in common use in Vt.
