The Vermont Department of Libraries seeks a skilled, motivated, and innovative grants administrator to serve as the Department of Libraries Contracts and Grants Administrator. The Contracts and Grants Administrator organizes all aspects of the subgrant program for public libraries issuing from the federal Library Service and Technology Act (LSTA) grant program, and serves as the Department contact point for all general questions and communication regarding LSTA activities. Drafts and processes contracts, grant agreements, memoranda, requests for information, quotes and proposals. Maintains tracking systems for work in process. Prepares recommendations to agency appointing authorities and legal counsel for approval of notices to proceed, amendment requests, sole source and bidder contracts and grant agreements. Determines if justification is adequate for amendment requests for contracts and grants.
