| Position description: | Full time position managing a growing municipal library in Shelburne,VT, an active community with a population of 7,000. Director supervises 2 full time and 4 part time employees as well as numerous volunteers. Library houses 30,000 volumes with a circulation approaching 60,000. |
| Qualifications: | Master’s Degree in Library Science plus 5 years experience, including at least 2 years as a supervisor, is desired. In addition to being a dynamic hands-on manager who will maintain a visible presence in the Library and community, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong initiative, leadership and interpersonal skills. |
| Salary and benefits: | Current salary range is $39,520 - $47,840. Competitive benefit package is offered. |
