Library Clerk III – Brooks Memorial Library (Brattleboro, VT)

Brooks Memorial Library seeks full-time Library Clerk III in the Adult Circulation Department. Duties
involve managing and overseeing all aspects of library circulation, scheduling, training and supervising
clerical staff and volunteers. Assists with reference and reader’s advisory services for patrons.
Participates in the supervisor cohort with librarians and Library Director. Must possess excellent
communication and public service skills, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
with coworkers and volunteers and articulate direction in a clear and collegial manner, and to exercise
sound judgement independently in decision making and problem solving. Fundamental knowledge of
library systems, policies and procedures required.

Must have Bachelor’s degree in any field and experience of at least six months of library experience
which has included duties other than those considered to be strictly clerical.
