The Trustees of the Blake Memorial Library are seeking a part-time (30 hours per week) Library Director to manage our library, which serves 1,800 patrons in Corinth, Topsham, and surrounding communities. The Director will work collaboratively with the Board of Trustees and will supervise one part-time employee and a capable group of dedicated volunteers. The Trustees are completing work on a 5-year plan for the library, based on recent meetings with many members of the community. The Trustees and community members are enthusiastic about the library and its future and are eager to work with a new Director to achieve the goals in our plan for the library. Candidates should possess an M.L.S. degree or be willing to obtain state certification as a public librarian within five years.
