The Readsboro Central School (PreK-8) is seeking a creative and dynamic school librarian to work with both students and teachers to facilitate access to information in a wide variety of formats. Our teaching librarian designs units of study that empower students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information. Our librarian instills a love of learning in all students. He/she collaborates with classroom teachers and specialists to enrich units of study in classrooms. Join an enthusiastic and supportive faculty team at our new, trail-blazing Pre-K-8 school. Licensure required with Library/Media Specialist Endorsement. Prior teaching experience preferred. This is a one day per week position, but the right candidate might also be able to fill our technology position.
