The Board of Trustees of the Plattsburgh Public Library seeks a dynamic leader to serve as Library Director II. This management position is responsible for directing a strong public library serving as the Central Library for 30 rural libraries. The Director manages a staff of 16, an annual budget of $800K and a service area of 20K in population. Close coordination with the director and staff of the Clinton, Essex, Franklin Library System is encouraged. Plattsburgh, New York is a vibrant community within a short driving distance of Montreal and Burlington, Vermont. A variety of cultural activities are offered through Plattsburgh State University and in the local community. The natural treasures of Lake Champlain, the Saranac River and the Adirondack Mountains provide opportunities for recreational activities (see goadirondack.com). Residents of the area enjoy an excellent quality of life and a reasonable cost of living.

The Norwich Public Library seeks an innovative technical services librarian to join our staff. This part-time (20hr/wk) position requires some evenings and weekends. The Technical Services Librarian is responsible for cataloging library materials, assisting with interlibrary loans and circulation desk duties. MLS preferred.
