Vermont Historical Newspapers Now Available on LC’s Chronicling America

Good news! As of this morning our first batch of newspapers are available on the Library of Congress Chronicling America website. This link: take you to a list of our available titles. Click the calendar “browse” view to browse issues.

We at the Vermont Digital Newspaper Project are excited to finally see the product of more than a year’s work now available for public use. This is only the beginning–we will be adding tens of thousands more historical Vermont newspaper pages from titles all around the state to Chronicling America in the coming months.

  1. I got this far but I can’seem to find the Orleans County Monitor which I think you have been digitizing. Where will I find it? I am particularly interested in January-July 1939.
