Exhibitor Information

This exciting event offers an opportunity to interact with librarians, media specialists, and library trustees from nearly every library in Vermont. Last year’s conference brought exhibitors together with over 575 registrants from college, public, schools and special libraries.

We will be back at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel and Conference Center. The regular booth size remains 8’x10’. We are also offering larger booths (8’x15’) for those who want more space for demos. The booths include pipe and drape, an 8’ table, two chairs, a wastebasket and a sign. The reservation form and payment must be received before April 4th in order to be listed in the conference program. Please note that the booth reservation form also includes a short contract, which must be signed. There is a separate form for meal reservations. Electrical connections and telephone lines are available directly from the Sheraton and must be pre-ordered on the electrical form.  The conference schedule has been designed to allow “program free” time each morning to tour exhibits. Coffee and pastries will be set up in the exhibit hall to draw people into the exhibit area. Instead of the box lunches, this year we will have a buffet, also set up in the exhibit hall. Refreshment breaks will also be in the exhibit hall. Last year’s raffle was so successful, we plan to hold another one to further promote the exhibitors. If you wish to participate, there is space on the registration form to sign up.

We are very pleased with the theme of the conference and the scope of the programs. We expect these changes to increase the attendance by librarians across the state.

We hope you can join us for two wonderful days at 2008 Vermont Library Conference. After you register, we will add a hyperlink to go from our website to yours.

Hope to see you there,
Marjorie Shane
