Qualities we seek in an ideal candidate include: imagination, a spirit of collaboration, adaptability, kindness, and a willingness to work as part of a team. Responsibilities: in addition to scheduling activities and managing the adult programming budget, you will maintain records of attendance at our events and serve as the point person for requests to use our public spaces. You will update and maintain our community calendar (and event listings on our website). We are also looking for a candidate who can support collection development, and who is adaptable enough to be able to process an interlibrary loan request or update a catalog record. Adaptability, care and kindness are our leading values as an organization. Some of your scheduled hours will include work with the public (and require that you assist in checking out books & helping patrons locate relevant resources).

Preferred Qualifications: a college degree and previous library, educational or programming experience is helpful.
