Circulation Specialist – South Burlington Public Library (South Burlington, VT)

The South Burlington Public Library is seeking a Circulation Specialist with energy and enthusiasm for working with the public, sharing a love of reading, and focusing on administrative duties. We are located in a new building where the Circulation Desk is front and center. Circulation staff check in and out over 23,000 items per month. The Specialist will be oversee inter-library loan, handle overdue and lost materials, and work on collecting and reporting statistics. They will work one of four Saturdays and one evening regularly. They will work closely with the Circulation Librarian and often be responsible for the desk. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Experience working in a public library is preferred. Fluency in a language other than English is also desirable but not required.
