Going to NELA? Chapter leaders want to hear from you!

College & University Librarians, ACRL-NEC wants to hear from you!

Let us know how your professional association can work for you.  What are we doing that works and what could we do better?

Vice President Barbara Kenney and I will be holding informal focus groups at the NELA (New England Library Association) Annual Conference in Manchester, NH on October 19, 20, and 21. We’re especially interested in hearing from folks in northern New England. A few minutes of your time during one of these sessions is all that’s needed. Please join us.

Sunday, October 19 from 1:00 – 3:00

Monday, October 20 from 9:00 – 11:00

Tuesday, October 21 from 9:30 – 11:30

All sessions will be held in the Armory at the conference site.

Please let me know your preferred day and time (reply to melissa.behney at conncoll.edu) . You do not need to stay for the entire session. If you’re at the conference and find yourself with some free time, you’re welcome to drop in. Librarians from VT, NH, ME and western MA are strongly encouraged to reply.

If you aren’t attending the NELA Annual Conference but have comments, you can contact Barbara Kenney (bkenney at rwu.edu) or me (melissa.behney at conncoll.edu) directly. Not going to NELA but near Manchester? Let us know. We’d be happy to set up an off-site or early evening meeting with you in the Manchester area or come to another location for a future meeting.

I look forward to hearing from you.
