The Shedd Free Library in Washington NH is seeking an organized, friendly, experienced person to fill the position of Library Director.
The Library Director must have a thorough working knowledge of modern library policies, practices, technologies and trends. Under the supervision and direction of the Library Trustees, the Library Director administers, plans and oversees all aspects of library. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency with technology are required. The goal is to provide a warm, welcoming environment for all ages.

A bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field preferred. Completion of Basic Library Techniques classes, professional certificate of librarianship, or equivalent experience will be considered.
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience for this 20-hour-a-week position.
