Patrons and Gale Resources: How to Get Them to Skip Google and Use the Library

For those of you who have been waiting for the recording of the February 13 webinar, Patrons and Gale Resources:  How to Get Them to Skip Google and Use the Library, it turns out that the audio was lost at about an hour into the event.  We will be offering another session – we hope the recording will be perfect.

Patrons and Gale Resources:  How to Get Them to Skip Google and Use the Library

April 10th, 2012 –  9:00am – 10:30am

This 1.5 hr workshop will go behind the scenes of Gale resources provided by Vermont Department of Libraries.  Did you know you can put a search box for Gale resources on your library’s web page?  We’ll cover that access point plus more; pick the best one for you and your community!  We’ll also take a look at different ways of configuring the interfaces of your Gale databases to make them as easy to use as possible using Gale Admin.  Lastly, we’ll take a look at accessing and running usage reports – you’ll be able to find out how many people are accessing your Gale resources from home and in the library!
