Youth Services Librarian – Platt Memorial Library (Shoreham, VT)

Platt Memorial Library seeks a dynamic and creative part-time Youth Services Librarian to work with the Library Director to offer weekly programming to children and families as well as special programs around the year. This position will also have responsibilities staffing our circulation desk, providing basic reference service to library patrons, supervising volunteers, and collection development of the various youth collections.

This position is 10 hours a week and requires 8 hours on Wednesdays and 2 hours a week that are flexibly scheduled. May occasionally include some additional weekend hours.   • Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience required. MLS/MLIS or Vermont Certificate in Public
  • Librarianship preferred. Experience in planning and leading youth programming and services is required.
